VILLAGE OF HUDSON FALLS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 20 of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the Village Law that a public hearing will be conducted by the Village of Hudson Falls Board of Trustees on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 6:10 pm at Village Hall located at 220 Main Street, Hudson Falls NY for the purpose of considering the adoption of Local Law No. 2 of 2014. LL No. 2 of 2014, as proposed would amend Section 215-62 of the Village Code Zoning “Trash receptacles and dumpsters” to reduce the amount of time allowed for temporary storage in the public right of way from 48 hours to 24 hours. Written comments on LL No. 2 of 2014 may be submitted to the Office of the Village Clerk until close of the public hearing. A copy of the proposed local law can be obtained at Village Hall, 220 Main Street, Hudson Falls.

PUBLIC HEARING TENTATIVE BUDGET
TAKE NOTICE, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Hudson Falls, New York, has filed the tentative budget for the fiscal year 2014-15 with the undersigned Village Clerk at her office in said Village and that on the 7th day of April, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. the Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing in Village Hall, 220 Main Street, Hudson Falls New York to consider said budget and to hear the objections of any person in relation thereto.
A copy of said tentative budget is available at the office of the Village Clerk where any person may inspect it during office hours.
The maximum compensation proposed to be paid to each of the Board of Trustees from all sources is as follows: Mayor – $9,500; Trustees $5,000.

Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 178, Article III, Section 178-8 and Chapter 215, Article IV, Section 215-14 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Hudson Falls, New York, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Board of the Village of Hudson Falls, County of Washington and State of New York, on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 6:00 pm in Village Hall, 220 Main Street, Hudson Falls, New York on the following matter:
An Application for a Property Subdivision and Site Plan Review has been submitted by Community Work and Independence, PO Box 771, Glens Falls, NY for the parcel known as 50 Pine Street, tax map number 154.15-2-1.2. Community Workshop Inc. wishes to subdivide a portion of the property located at said address and construct a residence as a health related facility to house disabled individuals under the applicant’s care.
The property is located in District 1 Class A Zone. Plans for the proposal are available at Village Hall, 220 Main Street, Hudson Falls, New York during regular business hours.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 215-14, of the Zoning Law of the Village of Hudson Falls, New York, NOTICE, is hereby given, that the Hudson Falls Planning Board will hold a public hearing on the 16th day of December 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Village Hall, 220 Main Street, Hudson Falls, New York regarding site plan review of the property located on 52-54 Main Street, Hudson Falls, New York, tax map #154.18-8-1 and owned by Rosarie Solimanto. The plan is to convert the used car lot into a self-service dog wash business.
The property is located in District 6 Mixed Use zone. Plans for the proposal are available at Village Hall, 220 Main Street, Hudson Falls, New York during regular business hours.

police services in the region to improve policing and reduce
police costs. The Study Steering Committee continues its work
by hosting its third public meeting on Thursday November 14th.
