  • Review of Special Use Application for Rebecca Durham, 82 Boulevard, Hudson Falls, NY
  • Approval of minutes of April 15, 2013

 

CONCERT IN THE PARK FOR 8/1/13 POSTPONED

The Marcabes were scheduled to play tonight from 7:00 to 9:00 for the Concerts in the Park Series located at Juckett Park.

Due to the rainy weather forecast, the band will not play on Thursday, August 1st but have rescheduled for Friday, August 9th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE HUDSON FALLS ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 215, Article XVI, Section 215-122 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Hudson Falls, New York notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Hudson Falls, County of Washington and State of New York, on the 19th day of August 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Village Hall, 220 Main Street, Hudson Falls, New York on the following matter:

Request by Rebecca Durham, 82 Boulevard, Hudson Falls, New York, tax map parcel 146.17-5-17.1, for a Special Use Permit, at said address,.  The applicant wishes to expand the current use of the property which was a grocery store/food service to a diner/pizza shop.

The property is located in District 1 Class A Residential Zone.  Plans for the proposal are available at Village Hall, 220 Main Street, Hudson Falls, New York during regular business hours.

Said Board of Appeals will, at said time and place, hear all persons in support of such matters or any objections thereto.

U.S. Rep. Bill Owens has announced that his staff will be available to constituents on August 28 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Village Hall.

Owens’ Staff will be available to speak with constituents about assistance available from federal agencies or concerns about legislation being considered in Congress. More information can be found on Mr. Owens’ website here.
