Happy Thanksgiving

Today, we celebrate the spirit of gratitude and togetherness that makes our community so special. We are thankful for the wonderful residents who call Hudson Falls home and for the Village charm that brings us all closer.

On this Thanksgiving, we wish you and your loved ones a day filled with warmth, laughter, and delicious meals. Let’s also take a moment to thank all those working today to keep our community safe and running smoothly.

From all of us at the Village, Happy Thanksgiving!

Moran-Derby Park to close for the season

UPDATE: Moran-Derby Park remained open the past couple of weeks due to the fair weather we have been experiencing, so fortunately the season was extended. However, it will officially be closing at dusk this evening, Friday, November 22, 2024.
We apologize for any confusion – Have a safe and happy winter! See you all in the SPRING 2025!

Honoring the Life and Service of Scott Ellis

With deep sadness, the Village mourns the passing of Scott Ellis, a member of our community who dedicated 32 years to protecting and supporting the residents of this Village. Scott was not only a firefighter but also a compassionate member and a friend to many. His service as a firefighter, Lieutenant, and Support Group member with the Hudson Falls Volunteer Fire Department left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Scott’s dedication, courage, and kindness embodied the very best of what it means to serve. His memory will carry on and his legacy will live on in the community he served. To his family, friends, and all who knew him, we extend our heartfelt condolences.
