Honoring the Life and Service of Scott Ellis

With deep sadness, the Village mourns the passing of Scott Ellis, a member of our community who dedicated 32 years to protecting and supporting the residents of this Village. Scott was not only a firefighter but also a compassionate member and a friend to many. His service as a firefighter, Lieutenant, and Support Group member with the Hudson Falls Volunteer Fire Department left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Scott’s dedication, courage, and kindness embodied the very best of what it means to serve. His memory will carry on and his legacy will live on in the community he served. To his family, friends, and all who knew him, we extend our heartfelt condolences.

In Loving Memory of Kendall McKernon

It is with heavy hearts that we join the community in mourning the loss of Kendall McKernon, a cherished friend and talented artist whose love for the Village was captured in every photograph he shared with us. Kendall’s images filled social media with beauty, warmth, and a perspective only he could offer—a reflection of his deep connection to the Village and its people.

As we continue to share Kendall’s work, we hope it brings the same joy and inspiration to you that it brought to him. His legacy will live on through his photos, which serve as a reminder of the love and pride he felt for our Village.

Our deepest condolences go out to Kendall’s family and to all who are grieving his loss. May his memory and his art continue to shine in our hearts and throughout the Village he called home.
