A look at the new Jaws Engine-Rescue 361
The Hudson Falls Volunteer Fire Department has a new primary fire engine. The truck is a 2013 Pierce Mega PUC with a 6 man cab, 1000 gallons of water capacity with a 1500 gpm pump. Jaws Engine Rescue 361, is the first new truck in over 20 years and was designed specifically for the Hudson Falls Volunteer Fire Department. The truck has an impressive amount of storage room, on both sides of the truck as well as the top.
Jaws Engine Rescue 361 is the department’s primary truck and responds to all calls. Chief Mike Fitzgerald plans to hold an open house when the weather gets better so Village residents can get a first hand look at the new truck.
